Arthur Kingford (real name: Artur Dotsiak) is a Ukrainian musician, composer, educator, and music coach based in the UK. His musical paradigm shifted at the age of 17 when he won the Grand Prix at his first national competition — marking the beginning of his professional journey.
A graduate of the National Music Academy of Ukraine, Arthur combines classical minimalism with modern neoclassicism, performing contemporary, baroque, and modern music. He is also the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship of Ukraine (2022, 2025) and the Kyiv Mayor’s Award (2022, 2023). As an accordionist, he ranked among the world’s top 20 in the Masters category.
Arthur plays multiple instruments: accordion, piano, keyboard, harpsichord, sopilka, tambourine, and various folk instruments. His original compositions reflect his personal experiences and seek to create a dialogue with the audience through sound. As an educator and music coach, he has taught numerous students — both individually and in groups — fostering the next generation of musicians. He actively supports young talent and, in 2021, co-organized the SoloFest: Dnirpovision competition for emerging performers.
Currently continuing his artistic journey in the UK, Arthur is developing new projects, compositions, and performances, sharing his passion for music and its power to connect people.
